The Business Unit Benelux is in charge of all business operated in The Netherlands/Belgium and Luxemburg, amongst retail, Low end Retail, Discount, Travel, E-commerce and Non Food Retail. Emerging Channels is the growth engine of Kellogg’s Benelux with its fast-developing business. Joining the Emerging Channels team, you will be joining a family of highly entrepreneurial, ambitious and passionate team players, dedicated to reaching our goals of being the growth department within the Benelux organization, operating in the following channels: Low end Retail, Discount, Travel, E-commerce, Away From Home, Food Service and Non Food Retail.


We have an excellent opportunity available for an Account Manager to make a difference at Kellogg’s. The Account Manager lies within the Benelux organization. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Business Manager Emerging Channels Benelux. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of challenging sales goals will be your primary responsibility. You will also be in charge of constantly looking for improvement activities within your area of responsibility.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing new and existing customers and relation for a number of customers
  • Taking orders and ensuring sales commitment is met
  • Managing the P&L of the customers, responsible for achieving the sales target and for preparing the customer’s forecast
  • Preparing and leading the negotiations with customers of the yearly joint business plans (listings, pricing, investment, activation, etc.)
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, category management and revenue growth management on the execution of promotional and other sell-out activities
  • Maintaining regular data exchange with customers (e.g. verification of turnover, stock, market shares reports)
  • Performing analysis on the area of responsibility and suggesting actions for improvement
  • Finding category approach opportunities driving the category growth

Your Profile 

Hard Skills

  • Education: Master’s degree in management, marketing or economics, engineering
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales; Trade marketing/marketing experience is an advantage
  • Languages: excellent Dutch and English skills, French language is a pro
